REHEARSALS START THE FIRST WEEK OF DECEMBER
Based on the 1992 Disney film and the 2012 Broadway production, the show is inspired by the real-life 1899 newsboy strike in New York City. When powerful newspaper publishers raise distribution prices at the expense of the kids who sell the papers, charismatic newsie Jack Kelly rallies a city-wide strike. The young workers unite to fight for fair treatment and prove that
even small voices can create major change.
